TRAPS

In Tillmann Lauterbach’s perspective, the boundary between functional and non-functional objects does not exist. The thoughtfully crafted pieces “function” while simultaneously yearning to be used and simply to exist. 

The basstrap series was born out of the desire to live in big  rooms whilst enjoying pure sound quaality without reverb or distortion. Speakers can only do so much providing good sound quality; the basstraps handle the sound reflections from walls and ceiling by absorbing them to ensure a pure sound experience regaardless what dungeon, house or faactory floor you are occupying.

Each work is handcrafted with love, and it is kindly requested that they be treated with care.
